So having all that in his pocket was an upgrade. Skateboard: Technically it's parts have been replaced multiple times, but it's still his. He got his first skateboard when he was ten, a few months before his mother died. His das told them they get few toys, whatever they wanted for Christmas. It was terrifying for him. Imagine having to call an ambulance for your own mother, who just almost OD... After that Shawn was forced into the foster care. He was in and out of homes. His mother was in and out or rehab. Shawn never really had a real support for the next four years. Around Shawn sixteenth birthday, he moved up north with his uncle, Jayce. And he was the closest thing Shawn ever had to a father. And after moving to saltburn Shawn grew his own family, joined gang.
