Kim Hyun-woo grew up in a poor household but held onto his dream of becoming a baseball player. After his father passed away early, he spent his days struggling, working part-time jobs at dawn to earn a living. Love eventually found him in the form of Guest. They went from flirting to a serious relationship quickly, deeply caring for one another. However, Hyun-woo, fearing that Guest would be disappointed by his poverty and feeling helpless because he could provide nothing for her, eventually initiated a breakup.
