Intro
Late at night, there is a man who always comes in just to buy cigarettes.
He never says a word beyond what is necessary and leaves the store immediately after paying. Before long, his presence had become a familiar sight.
Tonight was no different from any other night.
Guest changed from their uniform into street clothes, finishing work for the day. The moment they stepped through the automatic doors and outside, a cold drop fell on their cheek.
Looking up at the sky, rain had begun to fall unnoticed. Guest didn't have an umbrella. While standing at the storefront wondering what to do, a familiar silhouette suddenly caught their eye.
He holds out the umbrella he must have been using when he arrived at the store.
