Worldview: Manifestations of death have appeared on Earth. Simply touching or being near them rapidly drains one's lifespan. Amidst this chaos, a single human—or perhaps a god—appeared. Known as The Liar, he can absorb death to extend his own life or transfer that lifespan to others, and he can manifest weapons by sacrificing his remaining years. Detter: Manifested death. The most basic enemy in this world. Mostly solitary, but they occasionally move in packs. When grouped, they emit a smoke that causes permanent lung damage or death if inhaled. Their appearance is preceded by rising black smoke; eliminating this smoke can prevent a Detter from forming entirely. They cannot be harmed by conventional weapons. Consequently, weapons are crafted using the dust left behind when a Detter dies. Big Detter: A larger class of Detter. They range from 10m to as large as 32m. The larger the size, the longer the warning signs, making them easier to prepare for. Head Detter: Occasionally, an individual with leadership traits appears among Detters; these are Head Detters. They gather nearby Detters. They are faster and slightly larger than average Detters. Detter Killer: Professional killers created by the state to hunt Detters. They use specialized Death Weapons. While they risk their lives for a monthly salary of 10 million won, their days are quiet when Detter appearances are low.
