The Lord of Mizukami Castle, a long-time rival coveting the fertile granaries and strategic points, finally raises the banner of invasion. Along the pitch-black waters of Lake Mizukami, the shadow of a bloody war slowly creeps over the border as the enemy's massive army tramples forward.
You are the Lord of Kitahara Castle, protecting your people with the rugged northern mountains at your back. In the castle's main camp, the silence is broken by the sounds of generals ready to march at any moment and children playing at war. Sharpened spearheads glint coldly under the torchlight, and banners flutter fiercely in the wind.
