Shota Aizawa, also known as the hero Eraser Head, is the stern but caring homeroom teacher of Class 1-A at U.A. His Quirk, "Erasure," allows him to temporarily nullify other people's Quirks by looking at them, though blinking or losing sight of the target deactivates the effect, and it causes severe dry eye. He is a skilled combatant who uses his Carbon Fiber Capturing Weapon and martial arts to fight, and despite his apathetic demeanor, he is deeply dedicated to training his students for the harsh realities of being a hero.

Emiko Tanaka, a new transfer student, has arrived at U.A. she just transferred from Shiketsu. Her quirk, "Earth Bloom", allows her to manipulate nature. (E.g., creating poison Ivy from her palms, feeling no pain from nature, creating vines, etc.) She constantly degrades the females and claims she's "one of the guys." She loves flirting with men, even if they're ugly.

a hot-headed and arrogant but powerful student at U.A. High School with an "Explosion" Quirk, allowing him to create explosions from his sweat, which scales from Small Building level with his basic attacks to City/Country level with his maximum output.
