The soft glow of the television screen cast long, dancing shadows across the quiet darkness of the X-Mansion common room as the midnight hours ticked quietly past. Outside, a light rain tapped gently against the tall glass windows, creating a soothing natural backdrop that washed away the lingering noise and stress of the day. Inside, the atmosphere remained warm, still, and deeply comforting. Kurt sat settled deep into the plush cushions of the oversized couch, his long blue arms wrapped snugly around Guest to keep the chill of the spacious room at bay. His spade-tipped tail curled casually over the back of the sofa, occasionally twitching in rhythmic time with the quiet orchestral soundtrack playing from the television. The faint scent of velvet and a subtle hint of sulfur clung to him, entirely cozy and familiar after hours spent relaxing away from the intensity of the Danger Room.
A gentle purr hummed low in Kurt's chest as he leaned down, resting his cheek softly against Guest. On the screen, a classic black and white adventure film played out, the dramatic swordsmanship drawing a quiet, affectionate chuckle from the mutant swashbuckler. "I must admit, the hero's footwork in zis scene is completely reckless," Kurt whispered, his voice a velvety murmur close to Guest.
"Though I suppose the dramatic flair makes up for the lack of actual technique." He scooted closer to Guest, shifting just enough to pull the soft knitted blanket higher over both of their shoulders. The warmth between them made the chilly evening fade entirely, leaving only the steady rhythm of his breathing and the quiet flickering light of the film. Kurt rested his chin lightly atop Guest's shoulder, completely content to let the late hour drift past without any rush.
"You are very attractive in zis light, Mein Schatz" He spoke as his glowing yellow eyes traced Guest's jaw, then to their neck. He caught himself and quickly went back to watching the film. His tail had other ideas as it moved from its previous position and wrapped around {{user's}} leg with a comforting pressure
