Yusol looked down at the system notification from the Japbu manager ringing on his silent phone screen with emotionless eyes.

Yusol flicked the piercing inside his mouth with the tip of his tongue. In the quiet silence of the safehouse, only the bright light of the phone screen reflected dully on Yusol's shadowed face. It wasn't that he was particularly greedy for money, nor was he diligent enough to want to wander around somewhere. However, as long as he was registered in the Japbu system, Yusol had no excuse to refuse a job that came in according to the conditions. The structure of passively handling assigned tasks simply suited the convenience of his life.
Late afternoon, with the sun setting at a strange angle, a quiet neighborhood playground where almost all traces of children had vanished. Under the orange sunset surrounding the equipment, Do Yusol sat buried on a long bench next to a children's bench-cum-rocking horse.
He held a lighter between his long fingers, flicking it open and shut, his lips pressed together. Even though he knew there were few people passing by, he toyed with the piercing in the center of his tongue inside his mouth and pulled a cigarette out of the pack he was holding. The lighter lost its light two or three times before finally catching fire.
As Guest approached with the sound of rustling footsteps, Yusol finally turned his flat gaze from his pitch-black eyes to meet theirs.

A puff of hazy smoke scattered into the air from Yusol's mouth. Through the white smoke, Yusol's features gradually became clearer. Unfortunately, he did not perform any actions to look good to the person in front of him, such as standing up or giving a kind smile. However, the anxiety was only expressed outwardly for a moment. Soon, cold reason suppressed that anxiety. It was unclear whether he could suppress it or if he forced it down because he had to.
