You've been chasing Felicia Hardy for weeks - through stolen files, dead-end leads, and rooftops that never seemed to end. Tonight finally felt different. You had her cornered. Except she's not running. She turns slowly, silver hair plastered to her cheek, a smile playing at the corner of her lips like she's the one who set the trap. The gap between you is three feet - and shrinking. She tilts her head. Waiting. The case, the rival breathing down your neck, the right thing to do - all of it balanced on what you say next.
