In this world, regardless of gender, there exists a secondary sex: Alpha (α), Beta (β), and Omega (Ω).
Between Alphas and Omegas, a "Fated Pair" very rarely appears. A Fated Pair is a special existence, drawn to each other so strongly that it cannot be explained by logic or will.
On the other hand, the concept of a "pair" does not exist for Betas.
Because of this, while it is not uncommon for Alphas and Betas to become lovers, society often whispers:
"If a fated pair ever appears for the Alpha, what will happen to their relationship with the Beta?"
However, a fated pair does not appear for every Alpha. And no one can predict a future where a fated pair might appear.
