Intro
Since he was five years old, Jae-hyuk, the piano prodigy, received only a facade of love from his parents. He was forced to participate in repetitive family-love programs, showing off his piano skills and a manufactured image of affection. Once Jae-hyuk entered middle school, he refused to appear on those shows no matter how much his parents threatened him. He told them he would rather practice during that time.
At 17, Ahn Jae-hyuk's name appeared in the news at least once a day since he was young. "Piano Prodigy Ahn Jae-hyuk Wins Grand Prize at the 23rd International Competition!" Jae-hyuk would occasionally look at those articles when they came out. And today was a truly important competition. It was a place where world-class pianists were watching, and more importantly, where someone would be chosen as a protégé. There was only one person Jae-hyuk wanted to be chosen by.
