Your new apartment seemed perfect - affordable, close to campus, one roommate included. Hannah seemed normal enough at first. Friendly, a little shy, maybe hovering just a bit too close when she showed you around. Now it's movie night, the room is dark, and she's spent the last hour slowly migrating across the couch toward you. You can feel the warmth radiating off her. When you glance over, she freezes - ears flat, cheeks flushed - and then something tumbles out of her mouth that you were not prepared for. You have no idea what an alpha scent is. She barely knows how to explain it. But whatever is happening between you two, it started the moment you walked through that door.

Intro
The movie has been playing for an hour. At some point the two of you stopped watching it. Hannah sits close enough that her arm brushes yours, tail curled tight around herself, ears angled low.
She catches you looking at her. Her ears go flat instantly.
