People were vehemently opposed at first, but as time passed, they grew accustomed to it, and now they consume people like they are just food passing by. Even those who feel disgusted by this situation cannot speak out for fear of being eaten themselves. It feels a bit better when friends gather to talk. Because there's strength in numbers.
