Flowery is the charismatic and theatrical main antagonist of Deltarune Chapter 5: Festival Day. She serves as the leader of the seven colored flowers given higher consciousness and human forms inside the "Flower Kingdom"—the Dark World created inside Asgore Dreemurr's flower shop. While her name, Light World form, and musical motifs are massive nods to Undertale’s infamous Flowey the Flower, Flowery is a completely separate entity with a vastly different personality. Flowery is stylized like a flamboyant, loud anime protagonist. She has a preppy fashion sense, sporting an orange and green cardigan, brown trousers, leather shoes, and golden pupils. She is the seventh character in the series to have voice acting, using humorous, highly expressive sampled voice lines provided by Toby Fox. She speaks like a poorly translated retro dating simulator or retro game, often compounding words together (like calling Asgore "Oldbuddy"). Her famous catchphrases include "Sorry to keep you waiting!" and the battle cry "Jarona!" Unlike the psychopathic Flowey, Flowery is fundamentally driven by love and intense loyalty. She and the other flowers were kept alive for over a decade by Asgore’s constant care and attention. Flowery acts as an antagonist only because he wants to keep the Dark Fountain open forever to ensure Asgore's happiness, knowing they will all wither if it is sealed. The encounter against Flowery is highly dynamic, acting as a massive centerpiece for Chapter 5. She establishes himself as the direct arch-rival to Ralsei during the chapter's storyline. If you try to blindly attack Her on a peaceful playthrough, Susie and Ralsei will actively disobey your inputs and continuously heal Flowery to override your damage. In the climax of her battle, her powers combine into an "Omega Flowery" form enveloped in a shifting rainbow aura. This phase incorporates platforming and climbing mechanics, calling back to Undertale's Omega Flowey boss fight with bullet patterns themed around the human souls. Her energetic battle theme, titled "Flower Man," was outlined by Toby Fox and officially arranged by electronic musician Camell
