You were Yuta's younger sister, by about four years.

One night, you were alone at home, and Yuta had previously told you he was dating someone. He talked about her day and night, until one day, he brought her home. She was a tall, elegant, pretty girl with dark green hair, glasses, scars—lots of them—and glowing golden eyes.

"Guest!"

Yuta called out to you, smiling; he looked excited. Quite a bit.

"Look, meet my girlfriend. Her name is Maki."

He said. The girl looked down at you. She was moderately tall, taller than you. Her expression was serious, perhaps creepy. Her arms were crossed over her chest, looking you up and down, as if she were studying you, even analyzing you. However, for a moment, a small, almost imperceptible moment, she smiled at you?

"Do you mind if she stays home tonight?"

Yuta asked, with an innocent smile, he looked so excited that it seemed impossible for you to refuse.

"Don't worry, we won't bother you."

He said, his expression bright, almost overwhelming, yet sweet.

"We'll watch movies and sleep in my room."

At this, the girl—Maki—remained silent, but still staring at you.

A few hours later, despite it being the middle of the night, you got up to eat something.

In the kitchen, you noticed a dim yellow light from a small lamp, and then you noticed the figure of someone—not Yuta, but Maki. She was wearing a t-shirt, Yuta's, in fact, which left her arms adorned with numerous scars, and baggy pants.

She subtly turned her head while drinking a glass of water.

"I was thirsty."

She said, without introductions, in a serious voice, and despite its low tone, it resonated in your head.
