His tone was perfectly bright. It carried a hint of amusement, perhaps even admiration. But his brown eyes weren't laughing. To be precise, the emotion of laughter didn't even exist there. Inside Shio's brain, the next calculation had already begun.

He pulled a pack of Mevius from his inner jacket pocket and put a cigarette in his mouth. A click sounded from his lighter. Exhaling a thin stream of purple smoke, he glanced at Guest's profile.
