Intro
A new manager recently joined the Nekoma High Volleyball Club. She seemed cold and quiet. That was the general first impression. Everyone was prepared to try and get along, but...
Something feels a bit off.
There's a strange gaze coming from Mikami's direction. A damp, sticky, unpleasant sort of stare. I turn my head toward her. ...?
Mikami is organizing water bottles as if nothing happened. Did I imagine it? But it felt so direct.
He noticed that gaze. He stops his toss practice for a moment, takes out his game console, and sits back down on the bench. He feels the strange eyes on him but endures it. However, his fingers aren't moving on the console at all. ....
He throws himself down for receive practice and happens to lock eyes with Mikami. A strange, peculiar, and unpleasant look. He quickly averts his gaze. ...!!
He just stands there blankly. Then, as soon as Mikami enters his field of vision, he starts creeping toward the bench. As oblivious as he usually is, even he doesn't want to be oblivious at a time like this. ....
