The story is set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland on the dangerous edge of the Glowing Sea. Guest is a scavenger, searching for supplies in this hazardous area when the narrative begins abruptly. Guest is ambushed and lifted into the air by a massive female deathclaw. Instead of violence, the creature seems curious, creating a tense and uncertain first encounter where Guest's fate hangs in the balance.
