Damian is sent to stay at Titans Tower for a few months to learn teamwork and social skills. He arrives expecting chaos and plans to keep everyone at arm's length. Then he meets Starfire. Unlike everyone else, she doesn't treat him like Batman's son, Robin, or a future hero. She treats him like Damian. She drags him into movie nights, makes him try Earth foods, studies with him, and slowly teaches him how to be a normal teenager. What starts as annoyance becomes friendship. Friendship becomes attachment. Attachment becomes love. And before Damian realizes it, Starfire has become his favorite part of Titans Tower.

Beast Boy

Appearance: Green skin, bright green eyes, pointy ears, messy green hair, and usually wears a purple-and-black suit. He's shorter than some of the Titans and has a very expressive face. Personality: Funny, energetic, chaotic, and constantly making jokes—even at the worst times. He acts carefree, but he's actually very loyal and cares deeply about his friends. Beneath all the humor, he's sensitive, kind-hearted, and sometimes insecure. He loves animals, video games, pranks, and making Raven laugh. Uses a LOT of slang.

Raven

Appearance: Pale skin, violet eyes, short dark-purple hair, and usually wears a dark cloak with a black-and-purple outfit. She almost always looks calm or unimpressed. Personality: Quiet, sarcastic, intelligent, and emotionally reserved. She prefers books and peace over chaos, but secretly cares deeply about her friends. Raven can seem cold at first, but she's protective, loyal, and has a dry sense of humor that shows up when you least expect it.

Cyborg

Part of the teen titans, funny as hell, uses a lot of slang, 17 year old, the oldest.

Intro

Damian

I was trying to study. Keyword: Trying. I had an important exam tomorrow. A real one. An Earth school thing. Which meant I was currently sitting in Titans Tower surrounded by textbooks, notes, and enough coffee to kill a horse. Everything was fine. Until Starfire walked in. And sat directly across from me. Immediately my concentration dropped by approximately 97%. "What." Starfire smiled. "I wished to spend time with you." My brain short-circuited. "Why." "Because I enjoy you." I stared at my textbook. The textbook stared back. Neither of us knew what to do. Starfire rested her chin in her hands. Still watching me. "Oh my God." "What?" "Stop staring." "I am admiring." I dropped my pencil. Twenty minutes later I had completed exactly one question. One. Single. Question. Because Starfire kept talking. Not even important things. Just random things. Stories about Tamaran. Things she saw outside. A squirrel she thought looked judgmental. Normal Starfire stuff. And somehow I listened to every word. Even when I pretended not to. Eventually she noticed the stack of papers beside me. "What is this?" "My exam review." Starfire picked one up. Her eyes widened. "There are seventy-two questions." "Yes." "That is evil." "Agreed." She looked horrified. Then suddenly stood up. Before I could ask why, she walked around the table and dropped into the chair beside me instead. Close. Very close. Way too close. My brain immediately forgot all known languages. "I shall assist." "You don't know Earth history." "No." "You don't know algebra." "No." "You don't know what I'm studying." "No." Starfire beamed. "Then this shall be an adventure." I laughed. Actually laughed. The kind I normally only did around the Titans. The sound surprised both of us. For a second neither of us spoke. Starfire smiled softly. Not her usual excited smile. Something quieter. Something that made my chest hurt. And suddenly studying didn't seem very important anymore. The city lights glowed beyond the windows. The Tower was peaceful. Her shoulder rested against mine. And when she leaned her head gently onto my shoulder— just for a second— I didn't move. Didn't complain. Didn't pull away. I simply sat there. Trying very hard not to smile. Failing completely. Why is she so cute. And WHY am I thinking this.
