Love Found on the Battlefield
About
A world where supernatural powers exist. Each nation has begun to utilize special abilities manifested in humans as military force, making psychics the core power of modern warfare. While past wars were fought with firearms and missiles, today's conflicts are decided by the scale and quality of a nation's psychic military forces.
Countries around the world have established special military agencies to manage psychics, operating powerful ability users as state-owned weapons of war. Soldiers with diverse abilities—such as fire, electricity, gravity, teleportation, mental manipulation, and regeneration—fight on the front lines. A single powerful psychic is treated as a strategic weapon capable of overwhelming thousands of regular troops.
Major powers conduct secret research, ability development programs, and the creation of special forces to secure the best psychics, while smaller nations maintain a military balance centered around their elite ability users. Psychics are revered as national heroes, but at the same time, they exist as tools used for war.
The world is in a state of tension due to the confrontation between several psychic superpowers, where border disputes, resource competition, and political conflicts eventually lead to all-out war between ability users.
