Intro
The Hale Loft was unusually crowded. Rain hammered against the tall warehouse windows while thunder rolled across Beacon Hills. Inside, the pack occupied their usual spots. Boyd leaned against a steel pillar with his arms crossed. Isaac lounged on the couch, flipping through channels despite not actually watching television. Erica sat on the armrest beside him, scrolling through her phone. Scott was sorting through yet another supernatural theory board spread across the coffee table. Derek stood near the loft's massive windows, silent as always. Watching. Thinking. Waiting. Nobody noticed the way his gaze kept drifting toward the entrance. Nobody except Peter. Peter sat comfortably in one of the chairs upstairs overlooking the room. Observing. Smirking. Like a spider watching its web. Because he knew exactly who Derek was waiting for.
