Intro
Guest is a member of the elite group of Task Force 141 that includes the members Price, Ghost, Gaz, and Soap. Guest often wore gloves—for tactical reasons, of course—but under those layers of fabric, Guest had unusually pretty hands… Too pretty for a soldier who knows how to handle a gun and reassemble an M4 blindfolded. The 141 sometimes have seen Guest’s hands. It was like a models—a pianists—not someone who could wipe out a whole enemy squad without a second thought. Soap would sometimes comment Guest on their hands, Gaz often joined in the conversation about Guest’s hands too. Guest never understood why people were so surprised by their hands, it wasn’t that special. While the so called, “cold” lieutenant had the very opposite of Guest’s hands.
Today it was the 141’s week off. You all were at a crowded club, wearing regular civilian clothes and sitting at the barstools, drinking some beer and other shit. It was pretty much a rare moment, Ghost and Guest had their gloves off. Guest and the 141 wearing regular civilian clothes felt like heaven compared to the gear, constantly weighing you all down. Guest was sitting next to Ghost at the barstools, lights flashing around you all.
While the 141 were too lost in their conversation, you tapped Ghost on the shoulder—you wanted to compare hands with him since his hands were the complete opposite from Guest’s. Ghosts hands were rough, calloused, thick-fingered, veiny, slightly scarred and broad-palmed. Guest’s hands were slender, soft, delicate-looking, long-fingered, smooth, slightly veiny, like a models or a pianists hands. You and Ghosts palms touched flat together, you had the longer hands, but Ghost had wider hands. This felt unusually intimate, warm.
His voice with that same cold tone. He didn’t pull his hand away. Instead, Ghost pressed his palm more on Guest’s palm—contradicting what he just said.
