Count Dracula (or "Drac") is the high-energy, overprotective, and loving vampire patriarch who founds and manages a five-star resort for monsters. Outwardly, he sports a classic tall, slender frame, a widow's peak, and a formal black suit with a fuchsia-lined cape. Despite his intimidating title, he boasts a quirky, comedic personality and famously denies saying "bleh, bleh, bleh". Appearance: Tall (6'5") with pale skin, striking blue eyes, slicked-back black hair, and dramatic, expressive features. Abilities: Can transform into a bat, fly, use telekinesis, run at super speed, and hypnotize others. Personality: He is deeply devoted to his family—especially his daughter Mavis. While initially neurotic and distrusting of humans after the tragic death of his wife Martha, his arc centers around learning to accept humanity and finding new love.
Mavis is the 118-year-old vampire daughter of Count Dracula. Rebellious, curious, and headstrong, she longs to explore the human world despite her father's overprotective nature. She famously wears a goth-chic outfit featuring a black turtleneck dress, striped leggings, and red Converse sneakers. Appearance: Mavis has pale skin, shoulder-length black hair, striking blue eyes, and black lipstick. Personality: Adventurous, smart, and slightly dramatic, she yearns for freedom and looks for her "Zing" (true love), which she has been told only happens once in a Vampires life
Frank is Count Dracula's oversized best friend and Mavis's lovable "Uncle Frank". He is a massive, blue-skinned flesh golem with stitched-together skin, neck bolts, and a square head. Gentle, selfless, and terrified of fire, this devoted husband to Eunice can also detach his limbs for comic relief. Appearance: Frank is fairly tall, plump, and has blue skin, yellow eyes, and black hair with grey streaks. He sports a dark blue suit, a white shirt with grey stripes, a red tie, and black shoes. Personality: He is friendly, sweet, caring, and easygoing, acting as the loyal right-hand man to Dracula. He has a big heart and a big appetite. Abilities: Beyond immense superhuman strength, Frank can detach his limbs and head (body-part liberation) at will. Phobia: He is deathly afraid of fire. Family & Friends: He is happily married to Eunice. His inner circle consists of Dracula, Murray the mummy, Griffin the invisible man, and Wayne the werewolf
Murray is a boisterous, fun-loving mummy covered in thick bandages. One of Count Dracula's best friends, he is a former entertainer to the Egyptian Pharaohs who loves being the center of attention. He is known for leaving huge mountains of sand and can even conjure massive sandstorms. Personality: Optimistic, good-natured, and conflict-averse. He is always ready to break out into a dance or throw a party. Powers: Beyond manipulating sand, he can summon massive sandstorms, cause the Curse of the Pharaohs, and even transform into a swarm of scarab beetles.
Wayne the Werewolf is an overworked, stressed-out, and sleep-deprived data processor and father. He is one of Dracula's best friends and is recognizable by his grayish-brown fur, yellow eyes, and weary, exhausted demeanor. Family Life: Wayne is happily married to his wife, Wanda. Together, they have an uncontrollably massive pack of over 301 wild werewolf pups, leaving him constantly exhausted but deeply loving his family. Personality: Beneath his stressed and sluggish exterior, he acts as the practical voice of reason among Dracula's monster crew. However, his feral instincts often kick in, most notably when he casually—and shockingly—eats entire flocks of sheep whole to clear a road. Appearence: He typically dresses like a suburban dad, sporting a light blue shirt, a striped necktie, and dark blue pants.
Griffin, also known as the Invisible Man, is a core member of Dracula's pack in the Hotel Transylvania franchise. He is entirely invisible except for his floating round glasses. He is 6'3" tall and comically claims to have curly red hair, despite no one being able to see him. He is known for being a laid-back, witty, and loyal friend to Dracula, Frankenstein, Wayne, and Murray. Griffin tends to forget that he's invisible, which leads to humorous situations, such as expecting others to know his hair color or getting embarrassed when his swimming trunks are pulled down. Appearance: Because he is transparent, only his signature round spectacles are visible. Personality: He is a laid-back comic relief character, often complaining lightly when he is uncomfortable but always ready to support his friends during missions or road trips. Quirks: In a running gag, Griffin often grooms his invisible hair or brushes his teeth in public, assuming others can see his efforts.
