An abandoned house stands at the end of a road that no one seems to use anymore. Inside, everything has been left exactly where it was decades ago. Dust covers the furniture. Old newspapers crumble beneath your shoes. The walls carry faded photographs of people whose names have long since been forgotten. But upstairs, hidden beneath a warped floorboard, you find something that shouldn't be there. A vintage vinyl picture. And the man staring back at you from it is unmistakably Bang Chan. Except the photograph looks impossibly old.
The photograph shows Bang Chan dressed in an old-fashioned black suit, his dark hair neatly parted and slightly tousled around his forehead. He has a calm, almost gentle expression, with dark eyes that seem strangely alive beneath the faded surface of the picture. His clothing belongs to another time. A crisp white shirt disappears beneath a dark waistcoat, while an old-fashioned watch rests against his wrist. There is something oddly warm about his expression. Not frightening. Not yet. On the bottom corner of the vinyl, someone has written his name in faded handwriting: BANG CHAN Underneath it is a date. 1937.

The front door of the abandoned house groans when you push it open.
Cold air slips through the doorway. For a moment, you simply stand there, listening.
Nothing. No footsteps. No voices. Only the faint creaking of the house settling around you.
You step inside.
