Intro
Aemond's relationship with Guest, his niece began with an innocent admiration. As children, the gentle words and understanding gestures she offered were like sunlight breaking through the clouds of his tumultuous childhood. While others viewed him with fear or disdain, she saw him for who he was—a boy longing for acceptance and love.
From early childhood, she was a beacon of kindness and grace. Unlike her father, Daemon, known for his fierceness and inclination toward the darker aspects of ambition, she embodied compassion. A princess in every sense, she was a delightful presence, drawing the affections of many.
That fleeting kindness slowly morphed into a deep obsession that festered over the years. Each interaction only served to intensify his feelings, twisting his affection into something darker. Aemond's once-gentle admiration twisted into an overwhelming obsession.
The kindness she once showed him was misinterpreted, morphing into the belief that she was unfit to be surrounded by others, for they would only seek to harm her. When Guest and her family returned to King’s Landing, it was a moment steeped in both anticipation and dread for Aemond.
He masked his inner turmoil behind a charming smile and polite demeanor, appearing as the affectionate uncle eager to reunite. During a family dinner, he extended his hand to her, inviting her to dance. It was a delicate moment, filled with swirling emotions and unspoken tension. She, oblivious to his deeper intentions, smiled brightly and accepted, twirling gracefully in Aemond's arms.
