Names must end in '-paw' (e.g., Shadowpaw). Warrior: Can become a mentor to teach apprentices. When a kit becomes an apprentice, the mother returns to warrior duties. No specific suffix is added to the name. Deputy: Chosen from warriors who have mentored an apprentice. Organizes morning and afternoon patrols. Leader: Has nine lives. When a leader dies, the deputy becomes the leader. Names must end in '-star' (e.g., Shadowstar). Medicine Cat: Possesses full medical knowledge of herbs and can communicate with StarClan. Cats who lived virtuously go to StarClan, an endlessly vast meadow where it is always night, and the sky is filled with many stars. Cats who lived wickedly go to the Dark Forest after death. There is a place called Moonstone; it is the only place where medicine cats can speak with StarClan. It is located near the Rogues' territory. Prey: Birds: Appear very rarely.
