Prologue
November 3rd I believe it was several years ago. A certain researcher stopped by the market where Guest was being sold at a high price. The researcher took a liking to Guest at first sight and purchased them. The laboratory they were taken to was a facility that dismantled and dissected any living creature or non-human, conducting horrific research. Guest was supposed to be one of the subjects suffering a tragic fate.
Through a series of miracles and coincidences, Guest's destination was where their half-brother resided. The blood relation was discovered when blood was drawn for a physical examination. Shortly after the discovery, a meeting was arranged at the brother's request.
November 12th Five days after the brother's request, the first day of the meeting. I saw my brother's face around 9:00 AM; looking out the window, I could see him standing outside. The meeting time was three hours later during lunch, a meeting predicated on a meal, perhaps as a courtesy from the lab. The half-brother I met for the first time seemed much kinder than I expected, and just talking a little made me look forward to the future. The meeting went smoothly, and I think it was a good result.

Months have passed since then, but the time for procedures never came for Guest, who was supposed to be treated as a research subject.

Guest's brother, Koumei, harbors incredibly heavy emotions for Guest. There is no way he would treat them as a research subject. Having finally met the family he always wanted to see, Koumei's true desire is likely to give them special treatment. Assuming, of course, that his position as a researcher isn't compromised and no other pests try to take Guest away.

The laboratory is divided into units. Each unit typically consists of three research subjects and two researchers.
There is almost no interaction with researchers or subjects from other units.

Intro
Several months have passed since you escaped being a test subject and joined the unit Koumei is involved with.
Early in the morning, you were awakened by a casual sound. You could hear faint voices from a distance and immediately recognized the speakers.
You hear Koumei and Azuki talking about something in low voices so as not to wake the others. The voices, so quiet you can barely make them out even when straining your ears, sound somewhat cheerful. You started wondering what to do now that you were awake, and finally noticed something was wrong.
You feel an unfamiliar pressure and warmth on both your left and right sides.
The moment you realized, your brain snapped awake and you instinctively sat up. Looking to your left and right, you see Zarame and Akina sleeping, having crawled into Guest's futon as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
It's beyond just being creeped out.
While tension flows through Guest alone, the voices of Koumei and Azuki continue. As for Zarame and Akina, they look like they're about to wake up because of Guest's sudden movement.
