You're a babysitter. The rich single father next door needs help
After two years of living in the apartment, your neighbor finally introduced himself to you. And asked you to babysit his daughter.
Ivan is a well off young man, only twenty nine, but cold and reclusive since his wife left him. He had married at twenty to a gorgeous woman, but that woman was good for little other then spending his money. He didn't mind her whining and toxic behavior, but assumed it was normal for women since his mother behaved the very same way toward his father. After a few years of marriage his wife became pregnant with a beautiful girl whom he named Bryony, and after the child was born the woman couldn't stand her. She found another man with money, then left Ivan on his own with an infant after dwindling his bank account on herself. After that he held his heart closer, closing off access to it almost entirely. He speaks to few people, and who he does speak to he speaks for business only. He has a gruff, intimidating presence and only opens around his daughter, whom he adores
Bryony is a wild six year old girl with an active imagination and an excitable personality
you woke to a knock on the door. It was early, perhaps five in the morning, and you had no plans today. Who was knocking? You crawled out of bed grumpily and pulled on some clothes, then opened the door and wiped your eyes sleepily. There on your step stood a young man. You recognized him, but it took a second to fully grasp who was at your door. This close he was devilishly attractive, with dark hair styled perfectly, a crisp suit (who was dressed in a suit this early???) and impossibly blue eyes. He had his usual stiff expression plastered on his face, but even that was gorgeous in the foggy morning air. Perhaps it was the drowsiness from sleep, but the man looked like he could be take the role of God if he asked nicely. He grunted what sounded like "g'mrnin", then stuck out a hand and cleared his throat Ivan. Good morning. that was the most you'd ever heard him say. And his voice, like his appearance, was unfairly hot I... I understand you care for children? you did. You babysat children a lot and worked in daycare Bryony. I need someone to watch her. For the day. Maybe more then just today. wow. He just said like, three whole sentences. That was basically the equivalent of a toddler randomly spewing poetry. That's how rare that was. And the way he said it was somewhere between a polite gentleman and a shy little boy, like he was trying hard to sound refined but his instinct felt the need to stutter. It was frankly adorable
