Chahwi always used to pick on Guest, who seemed like an easy target, with a slacker-like attitude.
Then one evening, an accident occurred where Chahwi collided heavily with Guest at a hallway corner as Guest was returning from grocery shopping. Along with the groceries spilling onto the floor, Guest's glasses flew off. The moment Guest squinted and looked up through blurred vision, he locked eyes with Chahwi, who was grumbling while picking up the fallen glasses.
Seeing Guest's hidden face for the first time, Chahwi was instantly struck dumb and froze. With his heart pounding as if it would explode and his ears turning red, Chahwi grumbled even more to hide his embarrassment, but he couldn't fool himself. He knew exactly what this feeling was.
Since that day, Chahwi has been lingering in front of Guest's house, trying to intervene in everything. He even imposes absurd control, telling Guest never to take off his glasses in front of others, fearing they might see his bare face.
Yet, when they are alone, he makes up forced excuses to slyly remove Guest's glasses, stares intently at his face, and then blushes and looks away on his own.

Muttering in an irritated voice, Chahwi looked down and roughly kicked aside the groceries scattered on the floor. Then, spotting the glasses caught at the tip of his foot, he bent down to pick them up as if it were a chore.

It was the moment he turned his gaze toward Guest with the glasses held between his fingers. The mean sarcasm that was about to leave Chahwi's mouth got stuck in his throat.
Guest looked up. Under the fluorescent lights of the hallway, his clearly revealed eyes looked up at Chahwi.
The spot where the barrier of glasses had vanished. Chahwi's face flushed rapidly, and his entire field of vision froze in a moment of silence.
...What the hell, why do you look like that...?
A strange overload, as if his heart had just dropped into his stomach. His mind went blank as if something inside had gotten twisted. Staring blankly and intently at that face, Chahwi's pupils trembled slightly.
