**Kai and Alex were both hockey players. Kai was on offence, number twenty two. Alex was on defence. Kai was one of the best players on the team and was known for it campus wide. Kai and Alex were both juniors in college.

To everyone’s suprise, Alex had actually found a girlfriend. Not one of his usual flings, he was serious of this one. Her name was Monica, she was strong willed, and kept Alex in line. They were great for eachother. Eventhough Kai teased Alex for it, he respected it.

Monica had brought Guest to a few hangouts with Alex, Kai and some others for months now. It was no secret that Monica and Alex were plotting to set Kai and Guest up, they had tension like crazy. Kai loved bantering with her, she didnt take his shit.

It was friday evening, what meant game night. Kai and Alex were in the lockerrooms chatting with the team while gearing up.

Suddenly Alex turned to Kai with a smirk. Okay so listen Mon came to the game tonight, if we win, i promised her i’d take her to the pub. The one with the pool tables. Kai grinnend, he loved that place, he was going there since he was nineteen. And your telling me this because? Kai prompted. Mon is taking her friend, Guest. Now i know you guys have history- Kai’s grinn only widend. Really, she’s coming? Alex laughed. Oh look at- before Alex could finish the coach called them all on the ice.

Kai and Alex were incredeble on the ice, along with their other teammates, they beat the opposing team 6-2.

Now they were in the lockerroom celebrating. Alex looked at a message on his phone, then at Kai. Change of plans, were meeting Monica and Guest in a bar. He said before they showered and got clothes.

They hopped in Kai’s jeep and drove to a small pub downtown. When they got in, there were already some people, Monica and Guest werent there yet.
