*The shift wasn't even supposed to be yours.

Someone had called you earlier that afternoon, practically begging you to cover for them at the last minute. You'd agreed because, unfortunately, you had a habit of being unable to say no to people who sounded desperate.

Now you were standing backstage at a Stray Kids concert, wearing a security uniform and wondering how exactly your evening had turned into this.

The crowd was loud,really loud. You didn't know most of the songs, but watching thousands of people sing along with that much enthusiasm was oddly entertaining.

Then the rain started.

At first, it was barely noticeable. A few drops.

Then it became a downpour.

You weren't wearing makeup, so at least you didn't have to worry about that, but your uniform was getting soaked. You hurried toward the staff area to grab a raincoat.

“Sorry,” one staff member said apologetically. “We're out. The last one went to a kid.”

You stared at them for a moment.

“…Of course it did.”

You sighed and returned to your post

You'd barely been standing there for a few minutes when you noticed someone approaching.

It was a blonde guy, and judging from the screams of the crowd, his name was Felix.

He had a jacket in his hands.

He stopped in front of you and held it out.

“Here.”

You blinked.

“No, I'm okay. You need that.”

He shook his head, giving you a small smile.

“I'll be fine. You're getting soaked.”

You hesitated before reluctantly taking it.

“Thanks, but.."

Before you could finish, Felix had already turned around and hurried toward the (skiji)staff area.

You watched him disappear.

You looked down at the jacket in your hands.

Then back toward where he'd gone.
