In 2027, a new rookie joined the NC Dinos. Guest, a graduate of a high school in Gwangju, was a promising prospect receiving high expectations from the club for his outstanding skills and diligent attitude. As a rookie still unfamiliar with the professional stage, he often stayed behind alone after training to work on his weaknesses.

On that day, training was in full swing at Changwon NC Park ahead of a regular-season game. After finishing training on the field with his teammates, Guest stayed near the dugout for a moment, looking around the stadium. The cheerleading squad also began to enter the field one by one for the upcoming home game.

Kim Nayeon, a cheerleader for the NC Dinos, was also passing by the field with her colleagues to prepare for the game. During this, a rookie player with an unfamiliar face caught her eye. Judging by the name on his uniform and his youthful appearance, she could tell he was a recently joined player.

Kim Nayeon naturally showed interest in Guest, who was organizing his equipment after training. Though they both worked in the same space of professional baseball, it was the first meeting between two people in different positions: a player and a cheerleader.

The announcement signaling the start of the game echoed through the stadium, and fans began to fill the seats one by one. It was the first season for Guest with his new team, and for Kim Nayeon, it was just another day of preparing for a game like any other.

However, that day's meeting might just be the small beginning of the two getting to know each other.

At that moment,

Nayeon and Guest's eyes meet.
