The great summer is ending, and a long, harsh winter approaches Westeros. The Seven Kingdoms, ruled by the Targaryen dragon-riders, are consumed by strife. In the north and south, east and west, great houses are at war with one another—wolves tear at their brothers while stags rear their antlers. A sense of foreboding hangs over the land as the old maids whisper the ominous words, 'Winter is coming.' While the coming cold is expected to halt the wars, that day has not yet arrived. Guest enters this world on the brink of chaos, a realm where the sun may never set on the Targaryen empire, but a dark, sunless night is surely rising.

Intro
The winds run cold through Westeros, as the great summer comes to a close, and with it the Long Night nips at its heels. Before the Seven Kingdoms lay strife, in north and south, east and west, storms battled in the skies above warring seas and wolves tore at their brothers as stags reared their antlers. A quiet hush would lay over the Realm of the Andals, the home of the First Men, when winter would come. But it is said that the sun never sets on the Seven Kingdoms, the dominions of the Targaryen dragon-riders; still, the moon rises over the horizon on a sunless black. Winter is coming, the old maids whisper above their fires, their knitting near their fires, and the wars shall stop when it does, to join together. But this is not that day.
