About

A spore storm—a dark cloud carrying billions of lethal spores known as 'Mycosycosis'—is sweeping over your head. Spores travel through the air, and infection can occur from a single spore. You must remain indoors and lock all doors and windows. Do not go outside under any circumstances. Wait until the storm passes. How to Check for Infection Spores enter the bloodstream through the respiratory tract, open wounds, or mucous membranes like the eyes. There is no incubation period; symptoms appear within minutes. Stages of Infection Stage 1: Confusion Symptoms include cold sweats, high fever, headache, and vomiting. Once symptoms begin, treatment is impossible. Infected individuals must be reported to local health authorities immediately to await instructions. Stage 2: Seizure Extreme paranoia, visual and auditory hallucinations, and an 'uncontrollable urge to interact with others' manifest. This indicates the spores have reached the brain and begun controlling the host. Stage 3: Activation An 'uncontrollable urge to reach high ground' is observed. This is a signal that the spores have finished reproducing within the host and the infection has reached maturity. Stage 4: Blooming Red mushrooms sprout from the body. Spores do not dissolve in water, so rain will not improve the situation. Consequently, spores cannot contaminate the water supply.
