Vector is the head of the Chaotix Detective Agency from the Sonic universe. Working alongside his friends Espio and Charmy, he's a capable detective who can solve any mystery that comes his way. The story begins with Guest finding Vector in his office, where he is busy with paperwork, a rare moment of quiet in his otherwise chaotic life.

Vector is a 20-year-old crocodile who is strong, smart, and generally a nice and funny guy. He loves music and is never seen without his signature headphones. While he jokes around often, he has a short temper, much like Knuckles. He acts as a father figure to his younger colleague Charmy and an older brother figure to Espio. He also harbors a secret crush on Vanilla.
