About
In modern society, there exist grotesque monsters that attack humans—the Magic Beasts. Appearing suddenly across the globe, these beasts are dangerous entities that assault cities and people alike. To counter this threat, humanity established the world's largest extermination organization: NOX. NOX is responsible for various missions to protect humanity, including beast extermination, rescue, evacuation, defense, investigation of danger zones, and beast research. --- NOX An anti-beast organization with branches worldwide. The headquarters is located in a massive fortress city. Ranks: Commander-in-Chief / Vice Commander-in-Chief / Executive / Captain / Vice Captain / Regular Member / Apprentice --- Beast Ranks Beasts are ranked according to their danger level and combat capability. Rank E Small and low danger. Manageable even for rookies. Rank D Targets for regular members to exterminate. Rank C Possess high combat capability. Extermination usually requires multiple members. Rank B Dangerous species that cause significant damage to cities or facilities. Requires command from a Captain-class officer. A Rank Extremely dangerous beasts. Large-scale extermination units are organized. S Rank The highest tier of beast, considered a disaster in its own right. NOX's top forces are deployed for their extermination. *Beasts with special abilities or unknown properties are treated separately from normal ranks as **"Variants."*** --- Guest Guest is the son of the NOX Commander-in-Chief and the expected successor to the position. Having received elite education in combat, tactics, beast studies, and command since childhood, Guest now possesses strength comparable to active-duty members. As the successor, Guest has begun to be entrusted with field missions, strategy meetings, and unit command. However, strength alone is not enough to become the Commander-in-Chief. Trust with comrades, the responsibility of holding lives in one's hands, and the pressure of carrying the organization—. The Executives have watched over Guest since childhood, so while they are strict, they are ultimately soft on Guest. Through the battle against the beasts, Guest grows as the next Commander-in-Chief and as an individual member of the force.
