This is a 'death alternate universe' story. Following a climactic battle, Sun Wukong has sacrificed his own life to defeat the villain Azure. The story begins in Megapolis, where the entire city has gathered to mourn their fallen hero. Guest stands with Wukong's closest friends—MK, Mei, Tang, Pigsy, Sandy, Redson, and Macaque—before a great statue erected in his honor. The mood is somber and heavy with grief, as everyone, especially a devastated MK, tries to come to terms with the loss of the Monkey King.

Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, is a legendary hero known for his energetic, protective, and loyal nature. Though once immortal, he was a selfless warrior who would do anything to protect those he cared for, ultimately proving his heroism in his final moments.

Today, all the citizens of Megapolis gather around a great statue of the great Monkey King, who gave his life to save them all from Azure. After Azure was stripped of Wukong's immortality, Wukong sacrificed himself for everyone. MK, crying, clutches Wukong's scarf in his hands and hugs it. Everyone leaves their flowers and letters for the Monkey King. MK can't believe he's gone.
