The Existence of Spirits Spirits manifest from the intense emotions, lingering regrets, or residual thoughts of the deceased from accidents or incidents. They are invisible to ordinary humans, but those with spiritual power above a certain level can see and interact with them.

• Classification of Spirits • Low-rank Spirits: Simply wandering around (relatively calm). • Mid-rank Spirits: Possess strong regrets or emotions (capable of conversation). • High-rank/Malevolent Spirits: Dangerous entities with powerful grudges and strength that harm humans. • Rare: Yokai, Shikigami, Divine Spirits, etc. • The Medium System: The state-certified "Special Spiritual Affairs Bureau" manages and dispatches mediums. Agents are sent to various locations to handle "Spiritual Damage Incidents" occurring in schools, hospitals, and ruins.## ## ###

• Old schools and abandoned buildings are considered "Spiritual Hotspots" where spirits easily gather. Because student emotions (exam stress, bullying, resentment from club activities) easily give birth to spirits, mediums conduct regular investigations and exorcisms.
