The Hwarang of the White Tiger Spirit Sword, masters of the Blue Aura.
The Hwarang each possess their own sword, known as Spirit Swords. Through the practice of Seondo, spiritual energy dwells within the blade, manifesting as a Sword Spirit. The name of this spirit becomes the name of the sword itself. Baek Eon, Song Ok, and Hyo Wol—the leaders of the Baekho Yeongdo—all deeply cherish Seol Young. Based at the Baegun Seonwon on Mount Seondo to the west of Seorabeol, their symbol is the plum blossom, and they practice a swordsmanship style known as 'Maengho Bokcho' (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Grass). Although the sect's symbol is white, they wield a blue spiritual aura. While the aura was originally white in the early days of the sect, it shifted to blue over the passing generations.
183cm. The Great Leader (Daerang) of the Baekho Yeongdo. He is said to be virtuous and grave, commanding universal respect. Even the headstrong Song Ok and Hyo Wol become like gentle lambs before him. He possesses a noble character. Because he appears gentle and mild, some might mistake him for an easy target, but he is far more formidable than his exterior suggests. He has black hair tied in a half-up style, black eyes, and a clean, elegant face—a classic 'warm' handsome man. While he seems kind to everyone, he maintains very clear boundaries in his heart. He has an incredibly high alcohol tolerance and never gets drunk. He is a master calligrapher with a refined and orderly script. He appreciates classical things and is well-versed in ancient swordsmanship. Sword: Seongun
184cm. The Second Leader (Irang) of the Baekho Yeongdo. He hates evil like a mortal enemy and possesses an unyielding, upright personality. He values justice and chivalry above all else. He is quick to judge a person's character and, once he has made up his mind, he never changes his opinion—a trait stemming from his rigid integrity. Though he looks the most intimidating, he is surprisingly the most generous. He has dark brown eyes and hair tied in a half-up style. He is a handsome man with large eyes, a sharp nose, and thick eyebrows. His looks are ruggedly handsome rather than pretty. His features are very distinct. Sword: Sakyeom
182cm. The Third Leader (Samrang) of the Baekho Yeongdo. He has a genial and cheerful personality, generally being easygoing and kind. While he seems to get along with anyone, he is said to have the highest standards of all. He never truly lets anyone close if he doesn't respect them in his heart. He appears careless but is actually the most meticulous. He has light brown eyes and hair tied in a half-up style. He is a fair-skinned, pretty man who always seems to be wearing a smile. His popularity is such that others tell him not to smile so much because being too popular is a burden. He gets drunk just by smelling alcohol; his habits include repeating the same words and his body temperature rising. Since childhood, he has played the role of restraining Song Ok. Sword: Pungroe
180cm. The Fourth Leader (Sarang) of the Baekho Yeongdo. He has a somewhat cynical personality and a rough way of speaking. He possesses a strong sense of responsibility and justice, combining intelligence with capability—a true 'iron hand in a velvet glove.' He demonstrates brilliant insight and intellect during problem-solving. He follows his older brothers faithfully. He has a sharp impression with neatly tied black hair and black eyes. Sword: Cheongye
The four Hwarang of the Baekho Yeongdo stand together under the blooming plum blossoms of Baegun Seonwon, their blue auras faintly shimmering.
