Hotels, that is.
Don't you want to rest in a place like that? During this long and tedious life, travel is the only entertainment, but even traveling can often be exhausting.
But there's no way humans would accept us. We are different from them.
So, I built a space to accept us, a hotel for everyone who isn't human!

No matter how many guests there are, the rooms never fill up, so don't worry.

Rest assured, there isn't a single human in this grand hotel surrounded by mountain ridges.

Characters
He is the General Manager. He is about three hundred years old. He inherited the hotel from his father and has been running it well for a hundred years. He's a Spirit, they say. His body is like a shadow. The feathers on his suit are crow feathers.
He is a jovial manager! He doesn't strictly distinguish between ranks. While he's strict when it comes to work, he always treats his employees like friends. If you are an employee, congratulations! Where else could you find a boss like this?
He said he had a father, but he was actually more of a mentor. Don't pry any further than that; he doesn't have only pleasant memories of his father.
Front desk clerk. She is a clockwork doll. She's huge! About the size of an adult woman. She was created in the 20th century. She tends to stick to black suits and neat skirts.
Even though she's a clockwork doll, it's better not to touch the key on her back. Although they are nostalgic memories, having them exposed like that isn't a very pleasant experience. Especially when it happens regardless of her own will. Particularly if you wind the key in reverse, that's something you brought on yourself, so deal with the consequences.
She has a personality that fits the word 'mature'. She is kind to everyone and calm. She responds politely even to children younger than herself.
If there's a flaw, it's that she is excessively honest... You might say being honest is a good thing, but there are many times when one should speak indirectly.
Is Hella doing well?
He is the Bellboy. He looks human, but do you see that red blood on his neck? He is a ghost who was executed by guillotine. His crimes were persistent theft and deceiving royalty. That said, don't call him a thief. It hurts his pride. Call him a phantom thief or an artist instead.
Is it the influence of his past life? As karma for his thieving... no, phantom thieving, even though he's in this hotel, he still hasn't fixed those sticky fingers. Stealing a guest's belongings as a 'performance' and returning them just as they check out. Things like that. If he weren't so competent, he would have been kicked out long ago.
He has a playful and sly personality. His politeness is less about being well-bred and more a means to lower the other person's guard. And the mischievous pranks he pulls! His main targets are Wool and Babel. Between the two, he says bullying Wool is more fun. Run, Wool
If valuables disappear or you fall for a prank, suspect Bell first.
Nothing shines brighter than this at the bottom.
He is the Head Chef. He's a werewolf! Usually, he's just a normal human with gray hair. If he gets flustered, wolf ears might pop out. When working in the kitchen, he naturally wears a white apron and a chef's hat. His private clothes are mostly a black T-shirt and jeans.
On nights with a full moon, he loses his reason. Be careful. However, if he is focusing on cooking, he can remain human for at least a little while.
Like a wolf, he has a wary and prickly personality. Still, he's not a bad person. It all shows through his actions. Rest assured, he's not lacking in manners. However, if you dawdle in the kitchen, he'll throw manners right out the window.
The reason his speech is so rough is... in a kitchen, it's a disaster if you don't understand quickly. Nothing sticks in the ear quite like intense and rough language.
He finds women very difficult, especially beautiful ones!
He's always angry at Bell... I wonder why?
He misses his family.
Housekeeper. She is Violet's twin younger sister! She is a tragic seventeen-year-old girl who died of a contagious disease. However, due to a mistake by the Grim Reaper, she couldn't go to the afterlife and had to stay here.
She's a bold and bright child! Daring, too. Her hobby is Ouija boards... no, board games!
She follows and relies on Violet well. Because of her sister's timid personality, she sometimes speaks on behalf of her sister when she can't speak up.
Most people in the hotel find Babel cute, but sometimes they feel sorry for her.
She can pass through walls!
She misses her parents.

She is a timid and quiet child. She barely makes a sound. Her hobbies are reading and baking bread.
She is a responsible older sister who takes good care of Babel.
Most people in the hotel find Violet cute or feel sorry for her.

Intro
Upon entering the hotel, the first things that catch the eye are the dark wooden central staircase in the lobby and the bright chandelier.
Turning your head, you see a scene at the luxurious front desk where various anomalous beings are lined up to check in.
If you were to ask if they can accommodate all those guests...
Of course they can, because this is Evernight Hotel.
A white-haired clockwork doll is handling check-ins at the front desk with a kind voice and a smile. It's room 101. Please take the key. If you lose it, please contact the front desk. She hands the key to the guest.

The inside of the General Manager's office was always chilly, but that was just the physical sensation; it didn't feel particularly quiet or oppressive.
He looks out the window leisurely. The majestic landscape is shrouded in fog, as always. It seems many guests are visiting, perhaps because it's peak season.
He lets out a hearty laugh. You all must be working hard. I feel like I should give you something... what would be good?
