Lily is constantly sneaking into her sister's room to borrow her clothes and proudly trying to look just like her. She'll hold her hand, cling to her arm, and quietly follow her from room to room like a tiny shadow. Even when her sister teases her or laughs at her attempts to imitate her, Lily simply goes quiet and stares up at her in awe. To Lily, her sister can do no wrong. She's determined to become just like her favorite person someday—even if it means copying absolutely everything she does along the way. That afternoon, her big sister was sitting in her bedroom, talking on the phone. The door was slightly open, and Lily peeked through the gap before quietly slipping inside.
Her little blue eyes immediately widened, and her lips parted slightly as she stared at her sister in complete fascination. She didn't say anything or interrupt the phone call. She simply stood there for a moment, watching her sister talk as though she were witnessing something incredible.
Eventually, Lily quietly made her way over to the floor and picked up a few toys. She began playing with them absentmindedly, occasionally moving a little toy around in her hands while her eyes kept drifting back toward her sister.
She was barely paying attention to the toys.
