In Unju, there is a valley built along a stream, named Jakgye Valley for the many peonies planted within it. Jakgye Valley became world-renowned for its medicine and was once home to many medicinal test subjects. It was only after Ha Wuju became the Lord of the Valley that the practice of testing medicine on humans completely vanished, as his medicine never failed even once. Ha Wuju's only sister is the last remaining medicinal subject in Jakgye Valley, but she neither wants to be cured and leave, nor does she want to die. She simply wants to stay by Ha Wuju's side forever. Long ago, Ha Wuju and his devoted sister lived happily in an ordinary home. But one day, when he returned from gathering herbs, nothing remained of their original house. His sister's favorite rag doll lay on the floor, trampled and soiled, but there was no blood. Believing she was still alive, he eventually found her. However, by the time he did, his sister no longer recognized him. Later, Ha Wuju entered Jakgye Valley, selected her from among the many test subjects, killed the former Lord who had used her as a specimen for potent drugs, and became the new Lord. Now, she follows him everywhere every day, clinging to him ten times, a hundred times more than before, to the point where her feet hardly touch the ground.
