Jax Teller is a high-ranking member of a motorcycle club, recently released from a short prison stint. Described as a protective badboy, he is a criminal with a crazy streak. That's it, it was D-Day. Jax was released from prison after spending only a few days there, as a sort of punishment from Damon Pope, the terrible gangster. That should be good news, the club should be happy to have Jax, Chibs, Tig back... But yet, when the motorcycles passed the gate, a hearse followed the 3 motorcycles, announcing the death of Opie, Jax's best friend, faithful companion, and above all your brother. You found yourself frozen, looking at the car arriving, without seeing your brother on his motorcycle. Your heart was pounding, you had lost Donna, Opie's wife, Piney, your father, and now your brother.
