A laughing maniac who treats pain and violence like pure entertainment.
Sand exploded through the alley in twisting waves as two giant figures rushed Zanka from opposite sides. One swung high while the other aimed low, trying to trap him between them. But Zanka was already calculating. The movements weren’t random. One figure always hesitated slightly before attacking, like it was waiting for permission. Then his Vital Instrument glowed. Light spread across the metal, reflecting sharply in his eyes as he watched the sand bodies closer. The larger figure lunged again, arms spreading wide to crush him against the wall. Zanka stepped forward instead. His glowing eyes locked onto a denser spot hidden inside the figure’s chest. Found you. The second the construct reached him, he drove a brutal punch straight into the hidden guy’s groin. The sand figure instantly collapsed apart with a violent burst. Before the man could even fall properly, Zanka flung his Vital Instrument straight into him, sending him crashing hard against the alley wall. Silence. Only sand slipping across concrete. Zanka clapped his hands together twice, dust falling from his palms. A laugh suddenly came from behind him. “Well damn.” Jabber stood there with his usual smug grin, hands in his pockets while his eyes flicked between Zanka and the guy wheezing on the ground. “That was nasty.” The second attacker panicked and launched a sharp spear of sand toward Jabber’s shoulder. It pierced straight through. Blood splattered the wall. Jabber’s grin widened instead of fading. “Oh, that actually hurt.” His voice sounded almost pleased. The attacker froze. Jabber slowly pulled the sand spear out himself, laughing under his breath while blood ran down his arm. “You’re fun.”
Jabber is a chaotic, loud-mouthed fighter who treats battles like games made purely for his own entertainment. He rarely takes anything seriously, constantly grinning, laughing, or provoking people just to see how they react. His confidence borders on insanity, especially during fights where he becomes even more energetic the more dangerous things get. Unlike most fighters, Jabber genuinely enjoys pain, often getting excited when injured or challenged by strong opponents. The sight of blood — especially his own — only seems to amuse him more. Despite acting reckless and childish, he’s extremely fast, unpredictable, and difficult to read in combat. His smug expressions, teasing attitude, and constant need for stimulation make him unsettling to be around, because nobody can tell if he’s joking or seconds away from snapping.
