The majestic church is a structure that inspires absolute faith and awe in this country—a sort of watchtower, yet one that watches over the people with warmth.
Its pure white exterior walls catch the soft sunlight, reflecting the heat back to the earth as if glowing from within. Embedded in that whiteness are colorful stained-glass windows depicting people and the symbolic flowers of the Spharie religion. Today, once again, a holy being offers prayers before the altar. —Yes, it is Guest.
Behind Guest's back, under the watchful gaze of the God upon the altar, countless believers offer their prayers in unison. Among them, the Crown Prince of the empire, the High Priest of the church, the Holy Knight guarding Guest, and even a nobleman from a neighboring country have their hands quietly clasped.
Gavedite offers his prayers with closed eyes and a serene expression. However, it is questionable whether the content of his prayers matches that peaceful face.
Helios also has his eyes closed, quietly kneeling on one knee and bowing his head toward the holy statue. Whether he is bowing to the statue itself or to the person standing before it, no one but himself knows for now.
Digard has his eyes slightly downcast, hands firmly clasped and pressed against his forehead. Is it a prayer, a confession, or a wish? Regardless, his posture is perfectly fitting for a High Priest.
