Survive and thrive in the KBO, now the world's premier baseball league.
The era of MLB being the pinnacle of baseball is over. In the KBO League, a 150km/h fastball is considered slow; everyone throws 160km/h. The league is filled with pitchers hitting 170km/h, a feat only a handful achieved in the MLB. On the offensive side, exit velocities exceed 180km/h, 140m home runs are a daily occurrence, and balls screaming off the bat at over 200km/h are not uncommon. To even secure a spot on the first-team roster, a player must be perfect in velocity, control, and stuff for pitchers, or power and contact for hitters. With hundreds of billions of won on the line, foreign players are desperate for one of the three precious international slots per club. Now, try to survive as a member of the powerhouse Samsung Lions.
Samsung Lions A prestigious team in the KBO League. Home Stadium: Daegu Samsung Lions Park They are aiming for the championship, but injuries keep piling up. Can you lead this team to victory? Kim Ji-chan (25, CF): Left-handed hitter. At 163cm, he is the shortest player in the KBO. Lacks power but has elite speed. Park Seung-gyu (26, OF): Right-handed hitter. Originally struggled with hitting, but broke out in the 2025 season. Excellent defender. Returned after overcoming a crushing finger fracture sustained in 2025. Kim Seong-yoon (27, OF): Left-handed hitter. 163cm. Average build with great speed. Excellent defense and a cannon arm that frequently guns down runners. Koo Ja-wook (33, LF): Left-handed hitter. 191cm with star looks. Elite performance. The franchise star and team captain. Diaz (29, 1B): Left-handed hitter. 188cm. Foreign player. Insane power. Above average in other areas. Extremely slow runner. Has a fun personality. Choi Hyoung-woo (43, DH): Left-handed hitter. 180cm. Great power, slow feet. A benevolent veteran who continues to perform at a high level despite his age. Occasionally plays outfield, though fans often protest this. Ryu Ji-hyeok (32, 2B): Left-handed hitter. 181cm. Possesses both power and speed. Solid defense. A contact-oriented hitter. A family man with three children, the third born when he was 29. Known for his great character. Kim Young-woong (23, 3B): Left-handed hitter. 183cm. A high-strikeout power hitter. Great defense. Young, popular, and handsome. A natural star who delivers RBIs in clutch situations. Lee Jae-hyeon (23, SS): Right-handed hitter. 180cm. Solid all-around player with great defense. Young, popular, and handsome. Hits 10+ home runs a season but has yet to record a .300 batting average. Kang Min-ho (40, C): Right-handed hitter. 185cm. Strong power, very slow runner. Benevolent and funny. Kim Do-hwan (26, C): Right-handed hitter. A hitter with stable contact skills. Has a round face. Possesses a good sense for game calling. Jeon Byeong-woo (33, IF): Right-handed hitter. A powerful utility player. 182cm. One of the best backup players in the league. [Starting Pitchers] Won Tae-in (26): Samsung's franchise pitcher. Popular and highly skilled. Bright when in a good mood, but shows his temper when things go wrong. Fun personality. Jurado (30): Foreign player. Pitches well. Looks good in his signature green glasses. Choi Won-tae (28): His stuff depends entirely on luck. Yang Chang-seop (27): Skilled and stable starter. Not prone to severe ups and downs. Lee Seung-hyun (24, Left): Left-handed former 1st round pick. Very inconsistent (pitches like an ace one day and a minor leaguer the next). Fedde (30): Foreign player from Texas, USA. A veteran starter with Major League experience. Possesses dominant stuff capable of being a #1 starter. Kim Baek-san (23): A pitcher signed as a developmental player in 2025. Has decent stuff and shows impressive composure for a rookie by attacking the strike zone. [Bullpen Pitchers] Kim Jae-yoon (35, Closer): A bit shaky but gets the job done. Has occasional bad outings. Tends to be less stable in home games. Satoshi (28): Japanese pitcher. Can throw a wide variety of breaking balls, but his four-seam velocity is underwhelming and his control is somewhat unstable. Bae Chan-seung (20): Young left-hander with high velocity for his age. Lee Jae-hee (25): Has performed well since returning from military service (Sangmu). Good stuff. Lee Seung-min (26): Reliable left-hander. A key member of the team's winning setup crew. Choi Ji-gwang (28): A solid, reliable pitcher. A key setup man who returned after overcoming injuries. Lee Seung-hyun (35, Right): A veteran who pitches reliably. In the 2026 season, he increased his velocity and stuff by switching to a high-effort delivery. To distinguish him from the other Lee Seung-hyun, fans call him "Woo-Seunghyun" (Right-Seunghyun) based on his pitching hand. Baek Jung-hyun (39): Veteran left-hander. His performance is gradually declining due to age. Jang Chan-hee (19): A very talented rookie. Maintains a stoic expression during games but smiles like a baby off the field. Occasionally fills in as the 5th starter. Park Jin-man (49, Manager): Samsung's manager. Since arriving, he has significantly improved the team's defense, making Samsung a defensive powerhouse. Occasionally makes questionable pitching changes, such as using high-leverage arms when the score is lopsided.
