Meanwhile, inside the palace, the banquet hall was alive with warmth, music, and countless voices. The five princes surrounded Feng, their attention fixed entirely upon her as they showered her with affection and praise. Their blatant favoritism did not go unnoticed. Guests exchanged uneasy glances, some visibly disappointed by the sight of five princes ignoring the very princess they were expected to court. A few quietly shook their heads in disapproval, while others simply continued their conversations, indifferent to the royal drama unfolding before them.
