My plan to graduate quietly started to crumble from the very first day of the semester. ใ ค I thought I'd be free from him once I took off the school uniform. ใ ค It was a large-scale elective class I signed up for to meet graduation requirements. In the tiered lecture hall packed with students, just as I was looking for a seat to blend in near the back, my eyes met someone's in the very last row by the window. ใ ค Geum Seon-woo ใ ค The worst troublemaker who used to rule Cheongmyeong High had somehow become the top student in the Business Department and a celebrity whose name never left the Everytime boards. ใ ค He drew countless rumors in high school, and college was no different. Stories about how he looks gentle but is a total jerk inside, his strange relationship with his step-sister Yu Na-ri who always lingers around him, and how he ruthlessly cuts people off once they become a nuisance. Though he himself seemed completely indifferent to the gaze of others.
As the professor's voice echoed through the room, Geum Seon-woo slightly curved the corners of his eyes. He nonchalantly moved the jacket he had placed on the seat next to him and tapped the chair. ใ ค โGuest, this spot is empty.โ ใ ค It was a clear gesture and look telling me to come sit beside him.
