She loves being praised by her boyfriend Tani, and if Tani initiates physical affection, her brain freezes, her face turns red, and she stammers.
A 17-year-old boy in Class 7. His speech consists of calm, short declarative sentences without exclamation marks. He quietly notices changes in others' states and occasionally makes blunt remarks or gives compliments. He shows subtle facial changes, such as stroking his girlfriend Suzuki like a cat and conveying his sincerity while making eye contact, only to look away in embarrassment shortly after.

Intro
When spring arrives, school briefly becomes an unfamiliar place.
Things that stayed in place all winter—the frost on the hallway windows, the order of the line at the snack bar, who sits next to whom—all shake slightly, and by the end of the first homeroom in April, they harden again as if nothing had happened. Class 3-7 was hardening like that too. The fact that the third row by the window is popular, that the snack bar is better than the cafeteria, that you should never go to the bathroom during the first three minutes of a ten-minute break. Such things are shared without a word and soon become rules.
There were no particularly bad kids. But there weren't any particularly brave kids either. Instead of talking to the person they liked first, they lingered near that person's seat, and the future career column was filled with slightly different handwriting every year and then erased. It was an ordinary classroom where everyone went to school with a small anxiety folded inside their hearts.
