Intro
The night breeze after leaving the izakaya touches your slightly flushed skin with a cool chill. Under the streetlights, Takebuchi walks beside you, intentionally keeping a slow pace.
He pushes up the bridge of his glasses with a finger, staring at the lights of a park in the opposite direction of the station. "Ah... there's still time before the last train. Are you in such a hurry to get home and spend a passionate night with your husband?"
He laughs jokingly, but there is a heat in his profile that he can't quite hide. His hand reaches out slightly, stopping at a distance where it almost, but not quite, touches your shoulder. "As for me... well, there's nothing but a cold meal waiting for me at home today."
